The new Bulgarian supercomputer – “HEMUS,” will be presented on October 19, 2023, during the opening of the newly established Infrastructure complex of the Center of Excellence in Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS).
The ceremony will commence at 10:00 a.m. in the hall of the high-performance computing complex in Block 8 of “Science Complex – 1” in the Campus of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Following the inauguration, the program will continue in “Prof. Marin Drinov” Hall in the main building of BAS (15th November str. №1) with a presentation showcasing the integrated research infrastructure and highlighting the center’s most significant achievements. The complex was completed within the framework of the project “Center of Excellence in Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies”, with the financial support of Operational Program “Science and Education for Smart Growth”, funded by the European Fund for Regional Development.
